Our Clinic
This clinical trial was initiated in 2011 in a clinical research institute founded by Dr. Rafel Arguello in 2007 in Torreon, Mexico (www.institutodeciencia.com). After the treatment started to get better results and patients from outside Mexico wanted to enroll in the clinical trial, Dr. Arguello searched for a prime tourist location, Dr. Arguello followed three basic criteria:
In selecting Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico, Dr. Arguello found a place that not only meets these criteria, but also offers patients and their families a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
IMPORTANT
Please note, however, that Atavistic Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy does NOT require hospitalization; all the treatment can be done in the comfort of your home. The purpose of your visit to our clinic is to be seen by Dr. Arguello, to review the diagnostic and laboratory results that you and he discussed by phone or e-mail correspondence, to examine you, and to provide the correct treatment for you once you enroll in the trial. Most countries will allow you to return with up to 3 months or more of prescription drugs from abroad, as long as they are for your personal use to treat a condition. They will be accompanied by Dr. Arguello’s prescription note, and the medicines are labelled with a pharmacy or clinic’s labels and sealed with security tape. After that initial visit, close monitoring is continued via telephone, e-mail and Skype. You will need to regularly provide Dr. Arguello with photographs, laboratory reports and/or images from CT scans, MRI, etc. (see other sections of this guide for details). Further treatments will be mailed to you via couriers (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.), except if Dr. Arguello needs to see you in person.
If you, or your sick relative, cannot travel because of health-related circumstances, we could discuss the possibility of having a friend or relative come to Los Cabos to bring the diagnostic and laboratory material, and pick up your treatment medicines. This is only possible after Dr. Arguello has discussed your case and condition with you over the phone, Skype or in person after one of his conferences in Canada or the USA. In this case, you will need to give a signed letter to your friend or relative. Alternatively, we could consider sending your medicines by courier from Los Cabos. This is possible for patients in the USA, Canada and Mexico. However, each case and country requirements are different, so please contact us. Also consider that Dr. Arguello travels frequently and could stop by your area to discuss your condition.
Our Location
We are located in Plaza Caracol in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Off of Paseo del Malecon San Jose and Bahia de Palmas. We are about 15 minutes from the International Airport, and surrounded by hotels, grocery and convenience stores, dolphin shows, and many restaurants, and at only one block from the beach. HYATT Place Los Cabos, HYATT Ziva, Barcelo Grand Faro, and other hotels are at a walking distance from us.

These prices were obtained using Expedia, one month in advance for July 24 to 26, 2014.
